Ordering
How long does it take to process my order?

Caroline's Desserts strives to process your order within 24 - 72 hours for most items, not including weekends or holidays. Larger orders may require additional time. Wholesale orders may require a longer lead time.

 

Orders received Friday, Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until the next business day, Monday, or Tuesday in the event of a holiday. If you have questions please contact Customer Service or call 888.84.CAROL.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Caroline's Desserts accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. We also accept Debit cards with a VISA or MasterCard logo. We do not accept cash, checks or CODs.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

A sales tax of 8.9% is added to all orders shipped to Washington addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to orders delivered outside Washington.

How do I use my promotional code?

Promotion codes are redeemed during the ordering process on the payment information page. Simply enter your promotion or coupon code, and when you're finished, move on to the checkout section. Your promotional discount will be factored into your order will be reflected in your order summary. Remember that coupons, gift cards, and promotions are all case sensitive and must be entered exactly as they appear.

What are your shipping rates?

Caroline's Desserts takes special care in shipping our products We offer Federal Express (FedEx) Nationwide services including: FedEx Ground, Home Delivery, 3rd Day, 2nd Day, Overnight, (Saturday delivery is not available) or United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. Cost is calculated at checkout. If you would like to request a specific carrier or use your own shipper's account to ship your order please contact Customer Service or call 888.84.CAROL.

Caroline’s Desserts takes as much care in shipping our products as we do in making them.  To ensure freshness, our products are made to order. We offer FedEx Nationwide service or USPS Priority Mail.

The map above is a general representation of transit times for FedEx Ground shipments to commercial destinations. In limited areas, transit times may differ between shipments to commercial and residential destinations.

FedEx Ground business days are Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). FedEx Home Delivery business days are Tuesday through Saturday (excluding holidays).

Example: A package shipped via FedEx Ground on Monday with a transit schedule of 2 business days, (not including the day the package is shipped) would be expected for delivery on Wednesday. A package shipped on Friday with a 2-day transit schedule would be expected for delivery the following Tuesday

* USPS Priority Mail service is not gauranteed. Typical shipping is 1-3 business days but some destinations may require longer transit times.
What about warm weather shipping?
Caroline’s Desserts with chocolate require special care during warm weather.  When ordering our products between June 1 and September 30, we may pack your order for warm weather transit to ensure delivery in perfect condition for a $ 10 additional fee. This $ 10 fee will be charged for items shipped to warm weather regions throughout the year. Fee will be charged after the order is shipped if applicable. What are your delivery policies?

Caroline’s Desserts is not responsible for missing, stolen, or incorrectly addressed packages. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.

 

Hospital/College/Office Building Notice:  We guarantee delivery to the mailroom or receiving department of the hospital, college, office building, etc. It is then up to this department to deliver the package to the correct recipient. This may cause delays as the mailroom or receiving department may not guarantee delivery within a given period of time.

 

Redirected Packages:  A $10.00 charge will be applied to redirect packages when incorrect or incomplete addresses are given.  We cannot extend any guarantee when incorrect addresses are given.

What about special delivery?
In select Seattle zip codes we can arrange messenger delivery service to office buildings at an additional charge of $30. Please contact Special Delivery or 888.84.CAROL for more information.
Do you offer will call?
We can arrange for will call for orders with a minimum purchase of $100. You may place the order on the website and use this discount code, 8CDL-WillCall, to purchase online.
